Evansville Magazine.

Postby Peque on Thu May 13, 2010 12:20 pm

Long time ago, in my usual searching for getting new or unknown pics of Michael in blogs, websites, galleries, fanpages, etc, I found a peculiar pic that I wanted to have in my file, but unfortunatly I couldn't copy it, so I started to keep searching till I bumped into it again and I noticed that this pic came from a magazine called 'Evansville' and to my surprise, this magazine was avaible for downloading.
A few minutes ago I was cleaning my folder and I saw this archive, so I decided to share it with you :)(specially, for those people who doesn't live in EEUU and can't get this kind of magazines, as me :P)
It was for sale in January/February 2OO7, or something. I don't remember the website that got this magazine, I've been looking for it but I can't find it, I've visited many sites that I can't remember :|

It's a PDF file and has 8 pages with an interview and I think this will be useful for knowing Michael a little bit more as it was useful for me :)

Click to download.

And here's the pic I was looking for:

I hope don't bother any copyright or something, I just want to share information!

I got a copy of the magazine from the magazine website-I need another...just 'cause.Have you been able to get a transcript of the interview Alex?If not, maybe I can help there too-for anyone who needs the help.I will do whatever it takes to spread the Rosenbaum love.

If there are those who want a physical copy, that is.

This pdf is missing one little bit.Further into the magazine they asked him what he feared most.I'll find it and scan that bit or type it up or something.

I am typing this, word for word from page 56 of "Evansville Living".Here is Michael's response to/about fear.

"I've had stagefright. It's the worst. I've almost passed out a few times. Once you get it into your head, you're done.I remember one incident in New York City, when I was doing an off-Broadway show.I had just replaced the lad and had three days to memorize an entire script. The first night,I had and entire monologue at the end of the show. So,I said the first line and then the rest of my speech never came out.It ended a bit abruptly,to say the least.I remember it feeling like I was trapped in time.I was num. Then I improvised a lone or two that didn't make any sense, and that was it.I'm not sure the audience knew about my flub, but the cast sure did. They laughed and gave me hell about it for weeks...

I don't think anyone is fearless-except for a guy I use to run with in high school.I won't mention any names, but he was someone who just didn't care about the consequences.I,on the other hand, have a lot of fears. Failure is one of them. But the older I get,the less it affects me. That's what I keep telling myself.I also have a friend who's fighting in Iraq right now.I always though of him as this fearless guy. Anybody who will risk their life for other people-that's fearlessness. Stay strong, Pfafflin."

Stagefright is why I won't do most ANYTHING in front of people-dance,sing,act.It was all I could do not to puke when I read my poetry at my college libray (in front of LOTS of people because I won the year's contest) AND I had the words right in front of me!
