Thats easy
To explain, I was never a Superman fan, he was a bit irritating and to
goody two shoes for me, I always was more of a Dark Knight kinda girl. I like them dark, angst ridden, brooding and dangerous.

So seeing as the show was Superman's teen years, I avoided the show like the plague when it first aired over here.
So one day in June last year I had the TV on in the background for noise, when this voice caught my attention, I looked up and that was me I was hooked. This gorgeous man with lovely eyes and sexy voice was arguing with John Glover. He was all intense and dangerous and sexy as hell. Then he got knocked out (I discovered this was a regular occurrence for Lex) then he got tied up (again regular occurrence)

Then blown up. So he ends up stuck in a caved in tunnel with his ex best friend. The episode it turns out was Nemisis and I loved it.
I was so caught up in the dynamic with Lex his father and Clark so much so that I got hold of all seven seasons and watched them all. Michael just blew me away, his performance as Lex was wonderful, watching the friendship with Clark disintegrate, the battles with his father. I'm not saying Lex is a saint *g* but when you watch the hurt/pain on Lex's face every time he is lied to, manipulated, pushed. Michael brought all that pain to the surface and showed us a character that was more than just the two dimensional bad guy of the movies and comics. Michael showed us someone that wanted to fit in, to be liked, loved, trusted. (Just as Clark did.) And he forced us to care, to feel for Lex. (Can you tell that I am a Lex girl

)
I watched the whole decent of Lex in awe. Michael's and John Glover's performances were amazing.
And god is Michael good at being scarily evil.
So thats how I became hooked. Then I discovered that Michael was the cute guy I liked in Urban Legend.
So thats how I became hooked.
